Teri always understood all the dynamics at play, money, family, sellers, other buyers, competing agendas, and gave calm and neutral coaching along the way. She NEVER made me feel that her agenda was part of the dynamics I had to factor in. In other words, I never felt like she was trying to "close the deal" at my own expense. When I first met her I told her that I was in no rush and it could take a year or more before I was ready to move. She was like "ok no problem! That's great! You will know what you like when you see it!" 2 months later I'm writing this review in front of the fireplace in my gorgeous new home. Teri is a real person. I feel like I am myself in her presence, and strategizing with her about making the biggest purchase of my life was like chatting with your best friend about ever single solitary ridiculous detail, as only your best friend could tolerate. Except in this case, your best friend also happened to sell 56 houses last year. I will never forget the morning of March 22nd, doing the walk through with Teri, just the two of us, an hour before my closing with butterflies in my stomach and a serious case of the giggles. It was one of the most exciting days of my life, and my husband kids and parents were all there to share it with me later that day, but that morning it felt very right that it was just Teri and me. She had been my rock for a whirlwind of a couple months, and i truly felt her joy FOR me at that moment of closing on the house of my dreams. I remember thinking that morning for the first time, "what a cool job Teri has that she gets to be with people in the moment of the best thing that ever happened to them!" But sometimes selling a house happens during one the lowest points in your life, and I can tell you, if that were ever the situation I was in, she would be the first person I would turn to. She truly makes the process feel personal and like you are her only customer. It's very hard to believe she is closing as many deals as she is, because she was accessible to me all the time, never seems busy, distracted or frazzled, and never made me feel less than her number one priority. I am proud of her success, for she is one of the ones who upholds the notion of old-school sales, that if your motive is truly to have your client's best interest as your central focus, and ethics as your guiding principles, you will be rewarded in sales. Teri deserves every penny of success she has had, and she will be a friend for life.
